Nexternal Shopping Cart Update – Keyword Suggestion Option

Nexternal has enhanced the search tool in its ecommerce software to include a “Keyword Suggestion Option”. This new option controls whether or not the keyword search field in the online store lists suggestions while typing, similar to executing a search from Google.com.

As seen in the example below, the field provides a list of suggestions for the customer after the customer types in the word “Nike”:

This feature thus assists consumers in finding what they are looking for by suggesting words and phrases that will return at least one result. The Keyword Suggestion Option works for the search box built-in to the online store software or can be implemented as a widget on a page outside of the software.
