Can I Ask You a Question Mr. Retailer?

As an online merchant, do you make it easy for your customers to get their questions answered?  If not (or you are not sure) consider using an eCommerce system that provides the ability for customers to ask questions about the products in your store on the individual product level.  Having this functionality provides three primary benefits:

1.)   It provides great customer service.  If it is simple for customers to ask questions and get the answers they need, they are more likely to purchase.

2.)   All customers will be able to see the Frequently Asked Questions and Answers for the product they are looking at.  This allows you to answer their question(s) before they even ask it.

3.)   Questions generate new relevant content for your products.  Search Engines like new relevant content.

For merchants using the Nexternal eCommerce Platform, enabling customer questions is simple.  To set up this feature, log into your OMS and click on Questions in the left side navigation.   At the top of the Questions section click the Setup button and scroll down to “Product Questions”.  Click the checkbox next to Allow Product Questions and click Finish.
