Increase Facebook Likes by Offering Coupon Codes

In a previous tip we discussed using the Facebook Like and Save Feature which encourages customers to like specific products in your online store. What can you do if you want to encourage customers to Like your company’s Facebook Page itself? Consider offering a coupon code that is visible only after the customer Likes your page. There are several Facebook Apps that can allow for this type of messaging. Essentially, you are looking for a Facebook Application that will display an offers page that is dynamic, meaning it changes after someone Likes the page. One company that makes such an App is North Social. More people liking your page means more branding. An added benefit is that the customer feels like they just earned a coupon rather than being just handed one. When customers feel like they have earned a reward, they are more likely to utilize it which equates to another order for you! Just be sure that you set your coupon parameters such that the coupon code can only be used once per customer.
