This enhancement has the potential to provide merchants who may not have qualified for the discounted pricing on their own, to save substantially on shipping costs.
For merchants impacted by the Dimensional Weight change, shipping via USPS is a nice alternative. Combine this with the automatic qualification for USPS Commercial Plus Pricing, it may be a good time for merchants to evaluate and consider USPS as another solid shipping option.
How To Set Up USPS Commercial Plus Pricing
First Time Nexternal/Endicia Label Server Customer:
• If you have never set up an Endicia Label Server Account through the Nexternal eCommerce Platform, then from within your Nexternal Order Management System, you need to navigate to Settings > Compatible Software > Endicia Label Server > Register. Complete the registration process and your account will automatically qualify for USPS Commercial Plus Pricing discount.
Existing Nexternal/Endicia Label Server Customer:
• If you already have an Endicia Label Server Account set up through Nexternal, you will need to first cancel the existing account through Endicia support, then set up a new account through Nexternal by going to Settings > Compatible Software > Endicia Label Server > New. Complete the registration process and your account will automatically qualify for Commercial Plus Pricing discount.
