Thomas Bougetz is the winemaker behind Bougetz Cellars and while working with vineyard owners throughout Northern California, he is constantly looking for new sources of fruit from well-established and well known vineyards. While his background is in Science and Technology, his interests in wine led him back to school to study winemaking at the Northwest Wine Academy in Seattle.
Bougetz Cellars main emphasis is on Cabernet Sauvignon from various growing regions in Napa Valley. Showing the expression of individual vineyard is a primary focus, but delivering a well-balanced wine that is appreciated on the nose, as well as the palate, is always the ultimate goal.
