Today marks the 25th birthday of the very first domain name. On March 15th, 1985 Symbolics.com became the first of its kind. While the .com revolution didn’t start for several years, companies like IBM (1986), Sun (1986) and Apple (1987) all saw what was to come and registered their domains shortly after.
