Nexternal’s Commerce Connector is a free turn-key application, available in the Salesforce AppExchange that automatically pulls Order Data, Customer Data and Product Data from your Nexternal Online Store into your SalesForce.com account. The integration provides you with all information pertaining to the customer, including order history, which products were ordered, and any related customer activity. Nexternal Commerce Connector lives within the Salesforce.com cloud and can easily be set to run on an hourly basis. Once Commerce Connector is turned on, data moves between Nexternal and Salesforce.com seamlessly.
The integration couldn’t be simpler. Orders that are marked as Shipped or sent within the Nexternal Order Management System will be pulled into SalesForce.com with their associated line items as Closed or Won Opportunities. The customer information for the orders are also pulled in and mapped to the Salesforce.com Account Object and will include any customer activities such as email or phone conversations that were created and recorded within the Nexternal Order Management System. Additionally, products that are sold in the online store will be pulled into Salesforce.com in the Products Object and will include all of the important product details and sales data. This integration gives Salesforce.com users a holistic view of their account activity all in one location.
