Nexternal VinNOW IntegrationNexternal, a leading provider of ecommerce software for the wine industry and VinNOW, a leading provider of Point of Sale and Wine Club Software for Winery Tasting rooms have integrated their systems to provide a complete order and customer management system for both online and offline sales. For Nexternal, this is the first truly turn-key integration it has done with a winery specific POS System.

Alex Gile, founder and CEO of Nexternal says, “VinNOW has a reputation in the wine industry for providing excellent point of sale software with fantastic support. We are very excited about our new partnership. By integrating our systems, wineries now have a complete multi-channel sales system. Most wineries don’t have the resources in house to make their multi-channel systems communicate seamlessly with one another. We think it makes a lot sense to provide this integration as a turn-key feature so wineries can easily take advantage of our best-of-breed solutions.”

With this new integration, customer data is passed bi-directionally between the two systems. If a customer updates his or her information online, the same information is updated in VinNOW. If a customer updates their information in the tasting room, the customer record in Nexternal’s Order Management System is updated. New Customers in the tasting room are emailed login credentials to make future online orders easier.

In addition to the customer data synchronization, orders placed online are automatically downloaded from Nexternal’s system into VinNOW’s point of sale software. Furthermore, products created in VinNOW are also automatically created in Nexternal. Integrating these systems programmatically saves wineries time and eliminates the possibility that data gets entered incorrectly.

Ted Starr, founder and CEO of VinNOW says, “Nexternal has been servicing the wine industry longer than any other ecommerce software company in existence today and has a very impressive client list. We are delighted to be working together and really see this as a great opportunity for us and our customers. Nexternal’s software provides a tremendous number of marketing tools that will help our clients take their online sales to a new level. Wineries using both systems will be able to login to VinNOW and get a holistic view of their customer’s sales regardless of channel – very powerful.”
